Half-Life: Loot

'Loot' was originally a gamemode developed for Half-Life, but since Valve did not have enough
time to polish it up and fill it with befitting content the mode was consequentially cut from the game
before the release.

'Loot' was quite a unique specimen among two other gamemodes: Free For All & Team DeathMatch.
This mod aims to recreate the gamemode with some changes, of course, to make it even more interesting.
Two teams of players explore and fight in big-size maps to capture Loot-box and bring it to the destination point.
The gameplay is round-based, if a player dies they have to wait for the next round to respawn.
There is no limit on how long a round can run. There are two modes in this mod.
Upon each new round the breakable & pushable objecs, as well as doors, are restored to their initial state.
The two modes are as follows: Standard and Randomode.

In Standard mode there are no weapons on the map, you have to pick a weapon you want in the beginning
on your team's spawn spot. You can only choose one weapon of its class.
There are two weapon classes so far: Handguns and Longrange weapons.

The Loot-box and Loot-key always lay in the same spots.

In Randomode the weapons are placed on the map and they are randomized every round.
The Loot-box and Loot-key can also be randomized, or they can be static. It's up to the mapper.
Randomode has no weapon-class restrictions like Standard mode does, you can have all weapons.

Regardless of the mode you may be given grenades on the start. They are replenished every round.
There are three types of grenades:

EXPLOSIVE

The name says it all: it's just an explosive grenade.

FLASH

Blinds any player who sees the grenade detonate. If you turn away most of the time you won't get blinded fully.

STUN
The grenade stuns any enemy team's player who's in the right radius, they are dizzy & can't walk straight.
